Chordblossom Gigs

As well as writing about the music scene in Northern Ireland, Chordblossom also host live gigs. Since our live debut back in March 2014 we have hosted a huge number of great local artists. From EP launches for The Wood Burning Savages & LORIS, to single launches for Silences & His New Atlas, we also do our best to support young bands or musicians looking for their first shows.

If you are a band or solo musician interested in playing one of our future shows we would love to hear from you. There are no restrictions as to genre, we’re just looking for people who want to play live. Although we are particularly keen to hear from anyone releasing a single, EP or album. GIFTED – Live at the Belfast Empire

Renowned for showcasing the best musical talent Northern Ireland has to offer, the GIFTED showcases have been sorely missed from the Belfast gig scene.

We are thrilled to announce that Chordblossom will be re-launching and curating GIFTED shows in the Belfast Empire.

The revamped GIFTED will feature a host of established and up and coming musicians from across Northern Ireland through regular gigs.

The first gig will take place on Saturday 8th June 2024 and is headlined by Derry alt-folk rock band PORTS. They will be joined on the night by Dark Tropics, Polar Bolero and Eilís. Tickets available here.
