From the opening 30 seconds it is blatantly obvious that this new single from 7.5 Tonnes of Beard is going to be a bruising encounter. Not surprisingly the band are based in Portstewart (Dear help any one living next door to their practice room), but one only has to look at their line-up to see where the noise comes from. A roll call of ASIWYFA, Diet Pills, Residual Effect, Stand-up Guy and Gacy’s Threads would be a raucous bill so to find them coming together is a treat for fans of riffs and sludge rock.
