So after last week’s deadly trio of gigs it is time to get out the old planner and identify which three gigs deserve your attention this week.
Admiral Fallow – Black Box – Thursday 14th February 2013
The team at Open House Festival have put together this alternative night of entertainment for all those sick of the usual Valentine’s Day shenanigans. Out in support of their 2nd album, ‘Tree Bursts In Snow,’ the scottish indie are sure to put on a lovely show in what will no doubt be a very cosy atmosphere in the Black Box.
Tickets are a measly £7.50 and are available directly from Open House Festival
NI Soul Troop – Stiff Kitten – Friday 15th February 2013
For a Friday night full of live music you should look no further than Shizznigh Promotion’s show with NI Soul Troop topping the bill. Their renowned live show is a must see and with a strong supporting cast featuring the likes of Concrete Circus, Unquiet Nights, Screaming Blue Murmor and Jamie Neish there will be something to suit everyone’s tastes.
Tickets are £6 and are available on the door or online at Shine Productions.
Jody Has A Hitlist – Oh Yeah Centre – Saturday 16th February 2013
If pop punk is your scene I would advise you to head down to see this young band and thankfully for all the teenagers this one is a 14+ show. Currently working on their full length debut album you will likely hear all the old stuff as well as be some of the first to hear them road-test the new material live.
Tickets available via Shine Productions
