As expected Culture Night was a triumph and if you haven’t managed to attend yet, you really need to make an effort in 2015. This week is no less busy and there are some great events going on including Red Bull’s Music Academy Belfast Weekender, Volume Control’s Clash of the New Breed and a huge all ages metal show at the T13 skate park. But since we’ve already given them some love, here are three other events worthy of your attention this week.
Civilization: Mojo Fury – Voodoo, Belfast – Wednesday 24th September 2014
A brand new venture from Jonny McKee kicks off with a bang with one of Ireland’s finest live bands, Mojo Fury gracing their opening night. If that’s not enough for you they’ll be joined by FLAWS and abandcalledboy. Riffs galore without a doubt.

Modern Life Is Rubbish: Ryan McMullan – Pavilion, Belfast – Thursday 25th September 2014
Modern Life is Rubbish returns with one of it’s most promising line-ups yet. Singer songwriter Ryan McMullan has been impressing many and will undoubtedly result in more headline performances. Support comes from the folky Runabay and another songwriter trying to break through in Matthew Duly.

BeeMickSee – Bar Sub, Belfast – Saturday 27th September 2014
The album release may have been pushed back until the new year but BeeMickSee is still in the mood to party. He’s hosting a single launch for ‘We Took A Dive’ and will be recruiting Aggressors BC, The Late Twos and Hot Cops to do just that.
