Like Johnny Cash we’ve pretty much been everywhere this summer, covering the likes of Forfey, Swell and Tanglewood. This coming weekend we’re off on the road again, this time to Limavady’s Stendhal Festival of Art, which was one of the highlights of last year for me. If you’re not lucky enough to be heading up, there’s plenty of other shows worthy of your attention.
Storm Tree – Black Box, Belfast – Friday 8th August 2014
The rock and roots of Storm Tree will take to the Black Box to play a charity gig aimed at raising for Shopmobility. They will be joined on the night by Cider Fish and the Acoustic Collective.
Admission is £5 on the door
Ajenda – Diamond Rock Club, Ahoghill – Saturday 9th August 2014
The Belfast based, female fronted Ajenda play a headline show at the renowned Diamond Rock Club. The rockers are one of our Al Gilmore’s favourite local bands and are well worth the trip. Support comes from LoMejor who were formed from the ashes of Swanee River.
Tickets are £5 on the door
