Cairo Station with Paranoid & Gondola – American Bar, Belfast – 17th February 2024
It seems to be gig after gig for Cairo Station as they establish their hypnotising live sound, from support slots to headliner in a flash. Alongside, intense rock newcomers Paranoid as well as Gondola, eager for their first ever gig. Get the first taste of fresh local music.
Soultrane Festival – Mandela Hall, Belfast – 17th February 2024
Ireland’s first ever festival dedicated to celebrating the music and culture of soul, jazz and funk will be in the renowned, spirited Mandela Hall. Headlining, Omar, the neo-soul legend breaking boundaries with his iconic genre defining sound. Local artists on the lineup include Manukahunney, with her fearless live attitude as well as newly renamed Esmeralda Road. This 7-piece indie-soul fusion recognised at the NI music prize for their vast success, winning single of the year.
Martha Greer with Susi Pagel & Madams Last Discovery – Mandela Hall, Belfast – 22nd February 2024
Levels returns with an absolutely stacked line-up, at only £1 per act celebrating the names currently adored by the scene. Headlining, rising star Martha Greer. Her 2023 release ‘dirty old shoes’ EP establishing a catchy indie folk attitude that could capture a crowd. Alongside, the illuminating Susi Pagel takes the stage, an exciting bubbly addition to the line-up as well as Madams last discovery, the psychedelic rock band that just released sophomore single ‘No more’.
Sundown Sessions: The Funeral Rose & Casual Riots – Court House, Bangor – 25th February 2024
Treat yourself to an afternoon show at the seaside with sets from post-punk synth-rockers The Funeral Rose who draw on influences such as The Cure and Joy Division, as well as Belfast indie five-piece Casual Riots.
Pinkslips – Voodoo, Belfast – 29th February 2024
Last but not least on their headline Irish tour and just a week after the release of single ‘Ambidexturous’, Pinkslips headline Voodoo. This fierce four piece meticulously blends their heavy rock influences with their own distinctive sound.
Reevah with Lucy Bell – Empire, Belfast – 29th February 2024
Derry’s Reevah celebrates the launch of her debut album with a special show in one of Belfast’s finest venues. Join her before she heads off to SXSW. Support comes from the hotly tipped Lucy Bell.
