Often when you think of Neal Calderwood at Manor Park Studios, you associate big rock records from the likes of Making Monsters, A Plastic Rose, Fighting with Wire. The latest artist to venture into his studio is Aoife Boyle, under the pseudonym Reevah.
Despite her studio musicians normally providing the aggression behind Making Monsters, Reevah’s debut release is the sweetly put together ‘Daydreamer‘ rather than a rip roaring rock release. There is a wistful melancholy about the track but it is the radiant vocals that make this a rather heart warming first release. Aoife has set herself a very high bar but we cannot wait to hear more from her.
