Following on from ‘Up In Smoke,’ Matty James is back with the second single ‘Never Learn.’
Taken from his debut album ‘Last One to Die’ this is a soulful treat from the Fermanagh man with beautiful acoustics, melodies and a subtle country undertone that will have you humming along for days.
A simple classically shot video by Ronan McGlade, shot in a 50’s dance hall accompanies this new release and frames the melancholy tone of the track perfectly.
Matty is accompanied on ‘Never Learn’ by Roisin Burns on piano and vocals and his brother Phil ‘Philthy’ Cassidy. He has recently performed at ‘Rebellion’ and will be on tour in the UK for the remainder of the year.
