Open House Festival returns to Bangor once again this August for a programme that is nearly double that of previous years. The town will host over 100 events across 36 locations in the shape of music, comedy, film, spoken word, food and theatre.
The cornerstone of the music events is a headline performance by Joan Armatrading in the stunning setting of Bangor Abbey as well as performances by Ian McCulloch (Echo & the Bunnymen) & Nick Mulvey. If you are more interested in musicians from these shores you can sample The Emerald Armada whilst on a boat tour, free gigs from No Oil Paintings, The Hardchargers & Thee Penny Dreadfuls as well as a performance by Kaz Hawkins & Her Band ‘O Men at the glitzy festival ball.
The full programme of events is available on the Open House Festival website where you can also buy tickets for all these great events.
