We love to see the transition and success of local bands here at Chordblossom and one of the first acts we covered way back in 2012 was Rainy Boy Sleep. At the time he was just off to support James Morrison on a stadium tour (read Peter’s email with him) but fast forward to March of this year and he had signed to Universal Music Ireland.
Signing to a major label can be a daunting task for anyone but thankfully Stevie is relishing the opportunity on his first release, ‘Ambulance’. Taken from his forthcoming debut album, Waiting Games, the song is a jauntily dreamy effort, aided in part by the vocal musings of Manchester’s Fred Longworth School Choir.
