Rob’s Gig Guide: 8th April – 14th April 2013

Last week saw some pretty special gigs including a very intimate performance by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club for fans who pre-ordered their latest album with our good friends at Head.

Transmit – Comic Relief Show – Limelight 2 – Wednesday 13th March 2013
A bumper 6 act line-up for Pure Savage Music Promotions’ latest Transmit show for Comic Relief. The bill is topped by Rainy Boy Sleep and also features Malojian, John Antlers & the Great Deceivers, Blackbirds, Gerry Norman (A Plastic Rose) and Rory Nellis (Seven Summits).

Tickets available on the door for only £3.

Eels – Limelight – Thursday 14th March 2013
In support of their 10th album ‘Wonderful, Glorious’ the highly rated American indie-rockers make a stop-over in the Limelight, Belfast. Demand for the show has been high and there are only a few tickets left so if you are in any way interested in attending be quick and secure yours now.

Tickets are available from Crowdsurge for £30 and as of today there will be one or two on the door.

Radar: The Bonnevilles – Speakeasy – Thursday 14th March 2013
Garage rockers The Bonnevilles continue their relentless touring schedule with an appearance at this week’s Radar show. Their latest album ‘Folk Art & the Death of Electric Jesus’ has received plenty of local and national critical acclaim, not to mention their live show is incendiary. Support comes from The Rupture Dogs and Psychojet.

No tickets or money required, simply turn up and enjoy
