The gigging scene seems to be picking up as we start the slow descent into February. It was nice to see the Diamond Rock Club sold out for the Answer and Screaming Eagles last night. The classic rock scene is flourishing and in DRC we have a delightfully quaint venue that is perfect for evenings of sweaty rock.
Independent Venue Week 2014 – Oh Yeah Music Centre, Belfast – Thursday 30th January 2014
Independent Venue Week is a new project commemorating the best music venues round the UK. The prevalent Oh Yeah Music Centre has been chosen as Northern Ireland’s representative and features a stunning line-up with Little Bear, Go Wolf and the Couth.

Million Dollar Reload celebrate the launch of their live album, As Real As It Gets (Have a read of Al Gilmore’s review here) with an intimate show in the Pavilion Bar in Belfast. It will be a night of classic rock with both Pay*ola, Yellow Sam and Stefan Murray on the bill.
