The festival season is finally over and I’m looking forward to the busy run of gigs coming up to the end of the year. A big thank you for all your kind feedback on our coverage so far, we have had a blast and are already looking forward to next year.
The Bonnevilles – Limelight 2, Belfast – Wednesday 4th September 2013
Garage blues band The Bonnevilles are an incendiary live act and this Wednesday they will be recording a live album. I have been told that there’ll be some material they have never played live before and possibly a new song or two so worth getting down. Support from Dutch Schultz and Escobar.

The Last Generation – Cellar Bar, Draperstown – Friday 6th September 2013
Maghera based rockers The Last Generation love their riffs and naturally also have a reputation for an impressive live show. This show is to celebrate the release of their latest EP, ‘Torann’ which is sure to cement their position as one of the liveliest new bands coming through. Support comes from the Wood Burning Savages, The Institute and Kryptic State.

Gacys Threads – Limelight 2, Belfast – Saturday 7th September 2013
Gacys Threads aren’t known for their softly softly approach and to acknowledge the release of their new split 7″ they will be tearing up the Limelight 2. The hardcore metal band will literally have the venue’s foundations shaking especially when you factor in the supporting cast of Five Will Die, Lantern For A Gale and Tusks.
