Rob’s Gig Guide: 19th – 25th August 2013

Last week was relentless when it came to big gigs, this week is a little less frantic but still enough gems. Not least another celebration of three under appreciated talents in Don’t Shoot, Little Arcadia & CQD at our own Exposure gig on Friday night.

More Than Conquerors – Limelight 2, Belfast – Wednesday 11th March 2015

Local big guns More Than Conquerors return to the venue they sold out for their album launch in late 2013. Not quite ready to release their second record, they instead return to celebrate the release of their racuous new single ‘Red’ through their own label and warm up for their trip to SXSW. Support comes from A Bad Cavalier and Travis Is A Tourist.

Admission is £7

The Continuous Battle of Order – Menagerie, Belfast – Thursday 12th March 2015

Live appearances fromThe Continuous Battle Of Order are rare so you’d be well advised to get down to this show if you’re a fan. Currently locked away recording their second album, the guitar & drums duo, those who dabble in Experimental polyryhtmic avant-rock greatness should be delighted. Support from ABandCalledBoy and Hot Cops.

Admission is £5

The Emerald Armada – The Empire, Belfast – Saturday 14th March 2015

There would be something seriously wrong if the Emerald Armada weren’t celebrating St Patrick’s Day with a gig in Belfast. Thankfully they don’t disappoint again this year. Fresh from a trip to India and some time in the studio the band are keen to get out and showcase their wares. Expect this to be packed so get down early to avoid being disappointed. Support from Houdini Dax, New Ancestors and Runaway Go.

Admission is £10 on the door or £8 in advance via Event Brite
